Return & Refund Policy

1. Warehouse Pick-Up Orders:
All pick-up orders must be inspected and tested on-site prior to taking the items. Once the item leaves our warehouse, all sales are FINAL with no returns, exchanges, or refunds.

2. Shipped & Delivered Orders:
Due to the nature of clearance and liquidation merchandise, all sales are FINAL SALE. However, we offer a 24-Hour Functional & Damage Guarantee:

A. Reporting Window: If your item arrives damaged from transit or has a functional defect not listed in the product description, you must report it to us within 24 hours of delivery.
B. Proof Required: Clear photos/videos of the issue and the packaging, along with your Order Number, must be provided.
C. Return Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning the item to our warehouse. Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to a verified error on our part.
D. Resolution: Upon receiving and verifying the returned item at our warehouse, we will issue a full refund for the product or provide a replacement.

Important Note: Claims made after the 24-hour window from delivery will strictly not be eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.

A. Welcome to Malik’s Liquidation! By accessing our website, purchasing our products online, or visiting our physical store and warehouse, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
B. You represent that you are at least the age of majority in your province of residence to enter into this agreement.
C. We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or request any visitor to leave our premises at our sole discretion.

2. Product Nature, Pricing & Inventory Errors
A. Liquidation & Clearance Items: Products sold online or in-store may include overstock, shelf pulls, customer returns, or open-box merchandise. Outer packaging may show handling wear. All items undergo functional testing prior to sale.
B. Pricing & Accuracy: Prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and subject to applicable taxes. In the event of a system or typographical error regarding price or inventory, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse any affected order. If charged, a full refund will be processed immediately.

3. Shipping, Pick-Up & Risk of Loss
A. Local Pick-Up: Customers selecting warehouse pick-up are required to inspect and test items on-site prior to departure. Title and risk of loss pass to the customer immediately upon taking possession of the item.
B. Shipped Orders: Risk of loss transfers to the purchaser once the item is handed over to the third-party carrier/shipping service.

4. In-Store & Warehouse Safety Policy
To ensure a safe environment for all visitors and staff at our physical warehouse located at 1426 Wallace Rd, Oakville, ON:

A. Supervision of Minors: Children must be strictly supervised by an adult at all times. Running, climbing, or playing on/around furniture displays, racking, or loading zones is strictly prohibited.
B. Handling Heavy Items:** Customers must exercise care when inspecting merchandise. Please request assistance from our staff to move, lift, or test heavy furniture or palletized items.
C. Accidental Damage: Visitors are financially liable for any damage caused to products, warehouse equipment, or property due to negligence or improper handling.

5. Facility Usage & Absolute Limitation of Liability (Stairs, Restrooms & Premises)
A. Use of Premises at Own Risk: Our facility at 1426 Wallace Rd, Oakville is an active commercial liquidation warehouse containing heavy goods, elevated storage, concrete surfaces, stairs, and restroom facilities. 
B. Disclaimer of Liability: By entering our premises or using any on-site facility—including but not limited to stairs, steps, walkways, customer/staff restrooms, parking areas, and loading docks—all visitors explicitly assume all risks associated with their presence.
C. Release of Claims: Malik’s Liquidation, its owner(s), employees, and landlords shall NOT be held liable or responsible for any injuries, slips, falls, personal accidents, property loss, or damages occurring anywhere on the premises, regardless of cause. Visitors enter, walk, and use facilities entirely at their own risk.

These Terms of Service and any operating rules posted on-site or online shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.

At Malik’s Liquidation, we aim to make getting your orders as simple and affordable as possible. We offer local delivery for bulk/furniture orders as well as standard shipping for smaller items across Ontario.

1. Local Delivery (Within 50 km Radius)
Eligibility: Local delivery is available for orders exceeding $200 CAD (before taxes) within a 50 km radius of our Oakville warehouse.
Delivery Fee: A nominal delivery fee is applied at checkout to help cover fuel and handling costs.
Scheduling & Hand-Off: Once your order is placed, our team will contact you to schedule a delivery timeframe. Items will be delivered to your main entrance or driveway/loading area.

2. Standard Shipping (Small & Lightweight Items)
Coverage: We ship small to medium-sized items to any physical address within the Province of Ontario through our trusted third-party courier partners.
Shipping Rates: All shipping fees are calculated based on weight, dimensions, and destination. Rates will be displayed clearly in your shopping cart before you complete your purchase.
Tracking: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details.

3. Local Warehouse Pick-Up (Always Free)
* Customers are always welcome to choose Free Local Pick-Up at checkout and collect their items directly from our warehouse located at 1426 Wallace Rd, Unit 1, Oakville, ON L6L 2Y2
